Barn Finds

This section of our portfolio is where you’ll find those rare, limited in number, exceptional quality wines that have been hiding at the back of the barn (winery). These bottles have quite often been set aside as a private reserve but as they are rediscovered they are deemed too valuable to be left in the dark any longer. As they’ve reached their age of perfection these wines need to be moved on to make room for younger vintages, hence the exceptionally low LUC’s and an open invitation for buyers to determine their own RRP/menu price.

  • Bernie Stanlake, the humble, quiet achiever of the Margaret River wine making industry, has agreed to let SWIWS present his last 37 cases of 2014 Cab Franc (as of June 2025) to independent hospitality and retail venues in our local region.

    The often forgotten parent of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc is renowned for producing wines with intense aromatics, This is an intoxicating wine with lifted earthy aromas of raspberries, rice and violets. Flavours of red plum, strawberry and aniseed get with balanced acidity and gentle tannins.
